Norman Efroymson
Decades of turning how organizations actually work into systems that support them.
I founded Micro-Office Systems, a software and services business that became part of Medsphere and later CareCloud, where I was most recently Director of Business Development.
Throughout my career, the work that mattered most has followed the same pattern: sit with the people who do the work, understand how it really flows, turn that into clear business rules, and then direct the software that carries them out. I've done that hands-on and through the development teams I've led.
I also continue to support practices that use the Medical Manager billing system, writing the custom Data Merge programs and data extracts I have written for years. More about my Medical Manager work.
Most recently, I applied that approach for a multi-site education organization that ran on forms, spreadsheets and email. I mapped how the work moved between people and built a single system to replace the chain of spreadsheets. Staff now record their work once, and payroll is produced from that record, with a portal for the schools the organization serves built on the same data.
I now do this work full time, for organizations that have outgrown their spreadsheets but don't want software that doesn't fit, or fees that grow with every person who logs in.
Based in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Working in person across Northeast Ohio and by video nationwide.
